Lisa is so precise, so organized and so thoughtful in her interactions with clients that we often wonder if there is actually a robot beneath that perpetually smiling exterior. Endlessly helpful and able to foresee issues and opportunities light-years ahead, Lisa is a cornerstone of the DH team.

What is a typical day like for you at DH?

There is no typical day—every single one is different and that’s just fine with me! I’ve had a hand in about every kind of integrated communications you could think of—from crisis communications, media relations and advertising buys, to writing strategic plans, building creative concepts and brands, and conducting research. I continue to learn things every day, and it’s part of what I love about my job.

What is the most fulfilling part of your job?

That’s easy—helping clients during a crisis. There is no better feeling when the dust settles than having clients hug you and tell you they couldn’t have done it without you. Not everyone can stay calm under pressure and build a communication strategy that is authentic, honest and helps people understand what’s going on, how it impacts them and what they should do next.

What is your secret to being the most organized person alive (or at least in our office)?

Three tips: Put things away as you go! Don’t be a hoarder. When you get something new, decide right away where it belongs or how to contain it.
